Final Assembly of the Receiver



Remove the knobs, nuts and washers from the ON/OFF switches. Place the LED in position, but do not solder it yet.

LED location. Insert the positive lead (longer pin) through the hole nearest the "D" in LED

Turn the PCB component side down on the control panel so the posts on the switches extend from the back side through the control panel. Place the washers over the posts and tighten the nuts on the switches. Use a 3/8 " screw to attach the PCB standoff post through the front control panel.

Use two 1/4" screws with nuts to attach the antenna terminal to the front of the front control panel. Make sure the side with the red wire is on the side labeled "+".

Remove the nuts from the jacks and extend the jacks through the appropriate openings in the control panel. Use the remaining two 1/4 " screws and nuts to attach the slide switch to the back side of the control panel so the slide mechanism extends through the opening in the control panel.

Turn the control panel face down and position the LED in the hole provided. With this position as a guide, solder the LED in place.

Remove the knobs from Bag 3. Place the knobs on the posts of TP1 and TP2 and tighten the set screw against the flat part of the post. The switch should click off with the pointer pointing at the OFF/ON position on the control panel.

Insert a 9V battery and you are ready to test your receiver.
