High
Speed Inspection
Unsurpassed
dynamic image capturing makes the PULNiX interline progressive
scan cameras a natural choice for all types of automated
on-line inspection systems and high speed process control
applications. Asynchronous electronic shuttering, essential
to high-speed image capture, is offered in very high resolution
monochrome, in RGB color, and even at frame rates exceeding
30fps. Applications include package and container inspection,
label inspection, position verification, and on-line measurement
and gauging. Bar or matrix code reading can be performed
for high speed package sorting. Our high resolution color
progressive scan camera is perfect for color sorting or
grading.
Medical
& Scientific Imaging
Microscopy,
electron microscopy, and various medical imaging systems
rely on critical resolving power to achieve optimal images.
Often the subjects are in motion, so precise imaging requires
shuttering without the vibration effects created by mechanical
shutter devices. PULNiX progressive scan cameras provide
the high resolution and electronic shutter capability to
capture sharp images, even in low light conditions.
Aerospace
Advanced
defense and training systems require high resolution, high
speed, and necessarily compact and robust CCD cameras for
all types of monitoring and recording. PULNiX uses extensive
surface mount and high reliability circuit design to meet
these challenges. Our cameras have been used in demanding
military and aerospace applications for over a decade. Our
airborne cameras and cockpit display recording cameras have
proven PULNiX's field reliability in the toughest environments.
Transportation
Control
A
rapidly expanding new application area, the use of high
resolution cameras for capturing full-frame images on the
fly allows considerable capability in systems for traffic
studies, automated toll collection, code enforcement, and
pollution monitoring, and highway engineering. PULNiX progressive
scan CCD camera models allow computer-based image acquisition
systems to capture full resolution images at fast speeds.
Interline transfer permits full-frame electronic shuttering,
and asynchronous shuttering allows capture of successive
vehicle images at random spacing. Ruggedized PULNiX cameras
can handle the effects of continuous use in 24-hour monitoring
systems. And CCD camera images do not degrade over time
as a result of exposure to headlight beams and various sun
conditions.
