CallerID Remote, another application for the Mac, takes an incoming call, and using a SupraModem (or any modem that receives callerID data), reports the CallerID information on your screen in a database. In addition, you can have the callerID information sent to a numeric pager or an alphanumeric pager; with an alpha pager, you will see the caller's name, phone number, date, and time of call. With a numeric pager, you can see the caller's phone number and the time of the call.

    WINDOWS

    APD Organizer with Caller ID

APD Organizer is an integrated telephony and personal information management (PIM) software package that automates and organizes your telephony activities as well as provides easy-to-use contact and time management functions.

    callerid.asp

Procomm, Procomm+ 'aspect' script file to implement caller id handling and archiving. The program requires a modem that will return Caller-ID values when instructed. Use will permit screening of calls prior to the line being placed off-hook: if the calling number is blocked or does not appear in the file, CALLID.DAT, the line will not be answered. One effective use would be on a line having both modem and FAX service. If the call is not from a known host, the modem will not pick up and the FAX or voice mail may connect instead.

    callerid.zip

Little Brother Caller ID for Windows 3.1 supports AT&T, Dallas, Practical Peripherals, Supra, Zoom, and other modems with caller id capabilities. The program is modeled after a real caller id box (the type you can purchase from the phone company) but does so much more! See a photo of the caller before you pick up the phone (examples included). Record and assign a sound clip for each individual caller (examples included). Little Brother will page you with the caller's number while you are away (SkyTel paging also supported). Set the program to reject calls from any number. Paste the caller's phone number to other Windows applications. View history of calls for any caller.

    callid.zip

This windows program plays WAV files based on the incomming phone number. REQUIRES a SUPRA caller id modem!

    cidman109.zip

Requires Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups, Windows 95, Windows NT Non-modem CID devices from Rochelle Communications are supported. The non-modem CID devices just sit on the phone line listening for CallerID data and when received, pass it in to CIDMan. These devices are significantly cheaper than buying a CallerID-compatible modem.

    cidsim.zip

Requires Windows 3.1 Emulates CID Data Stream on PC Speaker or Adlib/SoundBlaster sound card.

    idfon21.zip

Identafone Caller ID Software for PC running Windows 3.1 and later, requires a Supra, Practical Peripherals, Vive Synergies Call Editor or any Rockwell based modem with the Caller ID feature. Also requires vbrun300.dll to install and run, available from most BBS's and maybe already on your machine.

IdentaFone, in conjunction with Caller ID/Call Display service from your phone company, will log incoming calls and perform database lookups to place complete caller information at your fingertips before the phone has rang twice. You can configure it to show a large barker screen that can be seen across the room or you can just have the icon display the calling number. Includes a Speed Dialer for 32 of your favourite numbers, dialer from the database or return call dialer in log window. You can launch a program or window macro when a designated number calls. *NEW* ... if you have a numeric pager IdentaFone will send the calling party's number to your pager.

    pagemstr.zip

PageMaster is designed to solve all your present and future paging needs. PageMaster allows you to send pages to both numeric and alphanumeric pagers.

    peon2000.zip

Peon 2000 was developed as a school project. It has only been tested with Zoom modems. Zoom formats the caller ID differently than some others, hence it may not work with all modems.

    Rochelle Caller ID Manager

Rochelle Caller ID Manager IS NOT from Rochelle, it is for the Rochelle caller id box.
This Windows 95 program interfaced with single line serial port based Rochelle CallerID boxes. It also displays message waiting information, and can speak both NameID (if received) and CallerID information. Note: This program is zipped as Visual Basic 4.0 source code since VB4.0 compiles it to something like five meg!
