 Here is the mods about the frequency range on the DJ-X1 scanner of Alinco.

 Before :    144 - 146 mhz
                 430 - 440 mhz
                 1200 - 1300 mhz

 After :     100 khz - 1300 mhz


 The unit powered on:

 -press F + FL
 -display show FL -Frequency Lock-
 -then press 2, 1, 2, 6, 1, 7
 -displayed OPEN
 -press F + FL again
