Sandia National Laboratories has created a list of training courses offered by various institutions. The Florida Solar Energy Center has been providing solar-energy-related training courses for more than 20 years and has produced a list its current courses.

For Educators and Students

We've put together a few aids to help you or your students learn more about photovoltaic technology. For example, you can take our Online PV Quiz to see how much you know about the technology. The quiz will be graded online, and you will be given your results immediately. Or, if you're just interested in learning some facts about the technology, check out our Quick Facts.

We've also developed a couple of quizzes for downloading and printing out (great for educators looking for material). PV Facts (PDF Format 330KB) is simply a printable version of our online quiz, but we've included an answer sheet. PV IQ (PDF Format 18KB) covers much of the information in our "About Photovoltaics" area. So, all of the answers to this quiz can be found right on this portion of our Web site! This could make a challenging, interactive project for a group of students who can surf the site together or individually.
