 The
PULNiX TM-1020-15CL is a very high resolution, high speed monochrome
progressive scan CCD camera with Camera Link output. The interline
type progressive scan CCD permits full vertical and horizontal resolution
of very high speed shutter images. The electronic shutter, which
has speeds to 1/16,000 sec., can be reset asynchronously by external
pulse control. The frame rate is 15fps. A square imager format with
uniform square pixels provides superior image definition in any
orientation. The TM-1020-15CL has its own on-chip micro lens that
provides increased sensitivity.
The
TM-1020-15CL has a full dynamic range control function, which can
be set a externally selectable knee slopes to optimize CCD's full
dynamic range in the normal output signal range. The camera has
an 8-bit, Channel Link (LVDS, Channel Link format) digital signal
output for interfacing with external image processing systems. Special
interface cables are available for connecting the TM-1020-15CL directly
to Camera Link commercial frame grabbers.
Camera
Link is a cable specification that includes data (8 bits) transmission
as well as camera control and asynchronous serial communicationa
all on a single cable. The Camera Link standard defines a single
connector for both the frame grabber and camera end, and ensures
that all Camera Link products are interhcangeable with one another.
Multi-camera
operations require exact data and clock phases for each camera.
The TM-1020-15CL camera has a pixel clock locking phase lock loop
(PLL) option that will synchronize all the camera clocks in a multi-camera
application.*
Applications
for the TM-1020-15CL include machine vision, medical imaging, intelligent
transportation systems, high definition graphics, on-line, inspection,
gauging, character reading, archiving, and high security surveillance.
