Designing a Speaker system Using the Soundeasy Speaker Design Program
The document available for download here is a short tutorial on how to design a speaker system using the Soundeasy CAD speaker design program. The write-up applies to the current version of Soundeasy, V3.33. The ZIP file contains an MSword write-up describing in detail a procedures which should aid the new user in the  application of SE to his design problem. A simple 2-way design is considered. The design progresses from the importating of SPL and impedance data (also see and download my document on importing SPl and phase data) through the crossover design and optimization and finally complete system optimization. I have also included the SPL and impedance data files used in the sample design.  Thus, if you have Soundeasy V3.33 you should be able to duplicate this design example. Below are a copule of screen shots from the write up. I hope those of you who are using Soundeasy find this helpful if you are having problems.  Download file (170 K)

Note: this document is the same as the one posted to the Soundeasy yahoo group file section.
