Subject: Metalwork For Homebrewers

Greetings;

I thought I would pass on some info on something that could be
useful to a lot of the homebrewers out there. A place called
Sound Values/SCC, Inc. offers metalwork shells of some Dynaco
products (preamp PAT5, power amps ST410 and ST150). The power
amp shells include the external heatsinks for the output devices.
They also sell the heat sinks separately; these are constucted
such that they can be bolted onto the side of another box of your
choosing. I bought a couple of complete shells of the ST410 to 
build a couple of amplifiers into. The only complaint I have is 
that there is a cutout for a fan in the bottom that I will have 
to cover up.
