WaveFormer Pro, from SynaptiCAD, is three EDA tools in one: a timing diagram editor, an interactive Boolean simulator, and a stimulus generator. You begin your design cycle by constructing timing diagrams that define your system requirements, using the timing diagram editing and Boolean simulation features. The Boolean simulation features allow you to rapidly design digital circuits without having to create schematic or HDL models to verify basic functionality. WaveFormer Pro can also import or export waveforms to VHDL, Verilog, HP's logic analyzers & pattern generators, SPICE, ABEL, and a variety of gate level simulators. Reviewed on Nov 26 1997.
