Installation Instructions
For Windows 95/98 and Windows NT
Analog and Mixed Signal Circuit
Analysis Software
This software is used to analyze
system, IC and board-level designs using electronic (analog and
digital), mechanical, mathematical and physical elements. It is
a full working model of the ICAP/4Windows system. Limitations
are listed in the demo's help screens. Please see the Overview
and Getting Started Help screens for more information on running
the demo.
*** Installing the
Demo From a Single File Download ***
- Download the single self-extracting
file, Eval.exe, and place it in an empty directory.
- Run the single self-extracting
file, Eval.exe. It will extract and begin the installation process.
Follow the directions.
*** Installing the
Documentation and Movies***
- Download the self-extracting
file, Documentation.exe, and place it in an empty directory.
- Download the self-extracting
file, Movies.exe, and place it in an empty directory.
- Run the self-extracting files.
They will each extract and begin the installation process. Follow
the directions.
- Make sure that you install the
DOCUMENTATION and MOVIES into the same directory structure that
you use for the Evaluation software (C:\SPICE8d, by default)
*** Running the Demo
Software ***
To run the ICAP/4Windows Demo
Software:
- Double click on the Start Demo
icon to run ICAP/4Windows and open a sample schematic, or,
- Double click on the Start ICAPS
icon to run ICAP/4Windows and start a new schematic. You may
also open one of the example designs in the Circuits folder.
