MathCAD Routine

This MATHCAD (5+) File predicts the closed loop frequency and time response behavior of a typical Phase Lock Loop system, using a charge pump frequency-phase detector, passive filtering and a VCO. Predictions for both reference and VCO frequency modulation are given, along with predictions for "dual point" frequency modulation. A Fourier Transform (and inverse) is used to predict time domain behavior by converting a periodic square wave input into its associated spectrum, multiplied by the PLL closed loop frequency response, then converting back.
