BC-551
Lead-loaded Liquid Scintillator

General Description

BC-551 is a xylene-based scintillator which contains 5% lead by weight. This clear homogeneous liquid yields much higher X-ray and gamma sensitivity than unloaded liquid or plastic scintillators, particularly for photon energies below 200 keV. It comes encapsulated in ready-to-use glass or metal cells or in bulk, bottled under inert gas, for transfer to your containers.
