Superregenerative receiver

description

This is a simple RF receiver mainly for low-distance digital radio receiver application. The analog output of this circuit should be connected to a schmitt-trigger signal conditioning circuit with a proper value capacitor (from collector of T3). L1 for 27Mhz is about 10 turns, 6 mm diameter coil body.

Also, at the site you will find a 40mW FM transmitter....a 200mW FM transmit- ter and a 7 Watt FM Transmitter. I have made experimented with all of these and doctured them up to perform at their best. Kick you shoes off and stay awhile at the site and look around. But I require as stand alone En/Decoders hardware chips. As it will be used in tiny,low cost,without any (intelligent built) processors on board to take care data formatting. With just simple TXD,RXD,lines to communicate between two wireless Transceivers. It will be fine if it is transparent for the data baudrate settinga from 1K2 - 38.4 K speed. Pls reply ASAP. posted by bert peterman on 2002-03-28 17:09 Your transistors in the schematic should be labled Q1, Q2, and Q3. "Q" is the correct label(identification) of a transistor. "T's" are used for transformers.

It's sending a "on-off" pulse with it by pressing a simple button. Do you think that I can use this receiver to activate a small relay? if yes where in the cuircuit should I install it? It is a fascinating simple circuitry that has great sensitivity and selectivity and strong audio output with a regular head phones. I have been experimenting with this project for a while, and got it down to ONE transistor; originally it had two. Also, I had taken out a few other components that were not needed. If you want a shematic of it, with components and text info listed... please do give me a call. P.S. I call it the "Radio Shack Special", since all the parts (except for the variable capacitor for tuning different stations), can be purchased at Radio Shack. ...a friend, Patrick

It has a tapped audio transformer to which the speaker is attached.
