Hello all,
If anyone would like to make an 88 to 108 MHz FM band receiver with just
ONE transistor (MPF102/bought at Radio Shack) together with an LM386 (which
may also be bought at Radio Shack), please send an e-mail to me.
It is a fascinating simple circuitry that has great sensitivity and
selectivity and strong audio output with a regular head phones.
I have been experimenting with this project for a while, and got it down
to ONE transistor; originally it had two. Also, I had taken out a few
other components that were not needed.
If you want a shematic of it, with components and text info listed...
please do give me a call.
P.S. I call it the "Radio Shack Special", since all the parts (except for
the variable capacitor for tuning different stations), can be
purchased at Radio Shack.
...a friend, Patrick |
