VLF / ELF / ULF Research in Arizona
This Site is dedicated to low frequency research but in view of recent events in this country for those interested please see the link below for a look at the disaster at the World Trade Center in New York. I commend Steve the author of the site for his talent in creating a true depiction of what happened as captured through photography.

Below is an animation created from real time Schumann Resonance recordings in the Superstition Mountains. Animated Spectras from all locations are listed below. Equipment used for data acquisition to create the animations include: Induction coil, 12 stage Op-Amp Preamp/Signal conditioner and Spectrogram / Spectrum Laboratory software. Two other signals can be observed in many of the Spectras besides the first two Schumann Resonances. One at .9 Hz. and the other at 2.5 Hz. They are periodic in nature and vary in signal intensity. These signals can be seen in both still frame Spectras as well as the animations.
The Spectras below primarily focus on Schumann Resonance. To better understand what Schumann Resonance is please see the following link.

Schumann Spectras
Below is a nice addition to this web site. It's a movie created from a real time recording of the first two resonances as observed at Miriam Crater in Northern Arizona. This is about as close as one gets to real time observation. The surges you will notice from time to time are due to near by lightning activity. Lightning of course is one of the catalysts in the creation and excitation of the resonances.
