    * = according to B+W & Heliopan.
    ? = all UV short pass filters also transmit IR! use additional IR-block filter for recording
    only UV, like the B+W #489.

    (-) Available in gel as custom order for all Wratten/Agfa colors
    (/) Colors 3/8/11/12/15/16/23A/25/29/89B/87 available in thin (0.1mm) polyester, #87C only in 0.4mm polyester
    (!) Colors 3/6/8/11/12/16/21/23A/25/29/70/89B/88A/87/87C/87B/87A available as resin in Cokin-P size (but not available *from* Cokin!). For this and a dedicated solution for Horizon panorama cameras, see my HardWare and For Sale section.

    General notes:
    1) Kodak recommends #8 for Ektachrome IR, I prefer using a stronger filter, like 12, 16 or even 21.
    2) The darkest filter one can look through is #89B. It already gives a rather good impression of lighter foliage and dark skies. The darker #88A might work, but only for rough composition. It lacks the illuminating effect of foliage that #89B has. Eating lots of carrots might help also....:-))
    3) Kodak HIE can be used with all IR filters, although #87A will take very long exposures. Konica & Ilford are practical up to #89B, darker colors will also require a tripod. #87 in that case will also result in fractions of ASA....

    [This post slightly editted by Andrew Molitor]

    Hi all, I have a spread sheet of Wratten filter spectra. All current Wrattens at 10nm intervals from B-3. Well, nearly all, quattro ran out of memory before I could enter the 85s, HFs, or the safelights. Its 65K as a ascii file, a little large for posting. So, how do you want it? One explanatory post, then each filter as a follow up? Or 3 or so posts each of many filters.

    At the moment its just the filter number, stability rating and 3 collums of wavelength, transmition, density. I intend adding to it when I have time/inclination.

    PS If people could proofread and correct/confirm please...

    ~Paul
