RJ14C - RJ14W

Electrical Network Connection:

Two line bridged tip and ring.

Mechanical Arrangement:

Minature surface mount six position jack (RJ14C), or miniature wall mount six position jack (RJ14W).

Typical Usage:

Connect two lines to a phone instrument or other device, such as a modem or answering machine, in a residence or small business.

Note:

In both RJ14C and RJ14W connectors, only four terminals are wired. Green (tip of line 1) connects to position 4, Red (ring of line 1) to position 3, Yellow (ring of line 2) connects to position 5 and Black (tip of line 2) connects to position 2 of the connector. The connections are bridged (parallel) like a duplex on a branch circuit. There are no other connecions to pins 1 and 6 on the connector.
